BEVERLEY DOUGLAS-JONES
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
When Beverley married the founder, Robin Douglas-Jones, in the 1960s, she decided to leave her pharmacy degree to support Robin’s entrepreneurial skills full time. Being the driving force behind Robin, she focussed on allowing him the freedom to grow and develop the many successful companies he set up by managing the accounts of these enterprises with her loyal and committed control.
Bev has been the Financial Director for Douglas Jones since inception in the year 2000 and together with Kitty, remains a critical part of our Board of Directors.


KITTY DOUGLAS-JONES
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Having completed diplomas in Public Relations & Marketing and Business Computing, Kitty found herself as a Shareholder of an Inbound Tour Operator for 5 of her 10 years in the Tourism Industry. In 2008 Robin then called on Kitty to join the family business and to move to Mauritius to open the Douglas Jones operation on this Indian Ocean island. After a successful 3 and a half years establishing the brand on the Indian Ocean Islands, Kitty moved to Johannesburg to open a Boutique Gallery for Douglas Jones in the affluent Northern Suburbs. She moved to Cape Town in June 2013 and took over the business of Marketing, advertising and branding for the company.
In July 2020, Kitty became Managing Director of Douglas Jones.


MARTIN VAN NIEKERK
NATIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Martin joined Douglas Jones in 2007 as a Relationship Manager in the Gauteng area. From there he took charge of various retailers in Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. His knowledge of the swimming pool industry serves Douglas Jones well and he has developed many strong and important relationships for the company.
His loyalty to Douglas Jones has never faltered and Martin sums up his dedication to Douglas Jones as follows “my passion is looking after Key National accounts and LCO merchants for the past 13 years. Loyalty is a key attribute of who I am as a person and Douglas Jones holds this same ethic in their business”.


NINA CAMERON
WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Nina has been with the Douglas Jones family since inception, and without her and the founding members we would not be where we are today!
From a company of 5 when she joined to what is now over 40 people, Nina always has her finger on the pulse and it’s fair to say she knows what is happening in every department! But, her main focus is Warehouse operations and logistics, from managing stock arriving at the warehouse, to orders being picked and dispatched from Cape Town. She works closely with our various transport companies who distribute our product throughout Southern Africa. Nina’s job never quietens down but she thrives in this role!


JETRO STEVENS
ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Jetro joined Douglas Jones in 2005 as a driver at our Head Office in Cape Town. After building a reputation for good work ethic, he was offered a job in the warehouse where he served as a picker and quality controller. In 2012 Jetro decided to change course and accepted a job in customer support in our service centre. In 2016 he accepted a position on the road as a Relationship Manager, servicing retailers in the Cape Town area.
When the position of Assistant Warehouse Manager became available in the beginning of 2020, Jetro was the obvious choice. With an outstanding reputation for good customer service and an excellent knowledge of our warehouse operations, Jetro started assisting Nina in a management capacity in February 2020.


NAZLIE CERFF
CREATIVE ASSEMBLY MANAGER
Nazlie was in the clothing industry for 28 years managing the factory staff before we were able to snatch her up and she has been with us since November 2002.
Nazlie is in charge of our Creative Assembly division and there is no limit to the creativity which comes from here, with the most beautiful patterns and fades being produced by her capable staff. Every day they are presented with new and more complex patterns, but the department accepts the challenges with enthusiasm, and to date, they have achieved and exceeded our clients’ expectations every single time!
